guys… welcome back.
it’s sad to see this summer ending because in the last few months i got married, went on my honeymoon, and moved into my new apartment.
but the metropolitan opera season is hurdling towards me like a train. it starts tomorrow.
and it’s time to get my practice routine started for the year. between the met and the youtube channel and trying to generally keep my chops up, there’s a lot to practice for.
i want to plan out my practicing so that i’m going to be prepared for the first rehearsal of every piece i’m playing. and i want to learn a bunch of new music to record for this youtube channel.
so how do i organize my practice routine to get comfortable again on my instruments? and how do i make sure i’m preparing quickly enough for the first rehearsal of each piece i’m playing this coming year?
today’s video is about how to restart your practice routine this year.
i broke down the process into 3 steps so you clearly understand how to do it for yourself this year.
